Sarah Hafez
Director
Sarah is highly experienced in stakeholder engagement and negotiations, working closely with stakeholders, internally and externally and is confident and professional when doing so.
She is currently employed as Community Relations Lead at EnergyAustralia working at the Tallawarra Power Station. Prior to this she was Community Engagement Manager for the NSW Department of Education.
From 2012-2017 Sarah was the Senior Community Engagement Specialist at TranGrid. Sarah has worked as a Union Organiser for United Voice, the National Tertiary and Education Union. In her time in the Community Relations team for Cockatoo Coal’s Hume Coal Project, Sarah worked on landowner negotiations and access agreements for mineral exploration.
Sarah is proactive, caring, committed, collaborative and well-planned when engaging with stakeholders.
In her role as a Federal Electorate Officer for Jennie George MP for 9 years (2001-2010), Sarah was required to work with a diverse range of constituents on an equally diverse range of matters. Employed as Ms George’s Adviser, she was required to deal directly with Federal Ministers and Members from all political parties, Parliamentary Committees, Federal Government Departments, State Members and Ministers as well as the Local Governments.
Sarah works exceptionally well in a team environment but equally has no problem working independently and achieving required output without any supervision.
